I am seeking to find infromation regarding Isabelle Charmont/Charmeau whose last known whereabouts where Georgetown, Guyana. She origanally came from St Lucia and was married to a Benjamin Compton, but he died in a sailing ship trajedy.Isabelle from all accounts left St Luica about the late 40’s early 50,s and may well have spent out the last years of her life at Waterloo St, Georgetown until about 1965 or so.It is possible that the Meerabux family may well have known her as they lived on the same Street. So if they have details can they let me know.

My reason for seeking this information is beacause I am attempting to complete my family tree, but I have so little to go on regarding my grandmother Isabelle.

Sadly my father Stanisclaus Charmont/Compton had passed away before I was into any great depth of this reasearch and so I am in the dark regarding his mother.

So I turn to you, if there is anyone who from this little bit of information can offer me more knowledge of this side of my family, then I would love to hear from them.
