Stabroek News: Guyana lifted the slippery TCL Group Challenge Cup after a nine-year wait yesterday when the regional under – 19 three-day final against Barbados ended in a solitary draw at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground, Bourda.

Barbados’ body language in the field after Krishna Deosaran spanked a boundary to lead Guyana past their first innings total of 213 on the second day, suggested that the land of the flying fish had already conceded the Cup for the third consecutive year.
