Today the Iwokrama International Centre announced the completion of classroom training for six persons from the Masakenari Village in Southern Guyana for Park Rangering. Iwokrama was contracted by Conservation International – Guyana to conduct this course as part of their support for the development of the area’s Community-Owned Conservation Area (COCA).Â
