Dear Minister Persaud,
I am a Guyanese Business man in the US, and I am thinking to come back to Guyana and introduce the Basmattie Rice in the Guyana market,since there is a great demand for this quality rice in the world.I am seeking for some few thousand acres of land to start this production, and I need your advise about this, wheather it will work in Guyana or not, If I have the ok from you, then I can come to Guyana and meet with you in person.India and Pakistan are not exporting this rice to the Us that much, since there is a greater demand back home.I would like the Government to get involve in this sector, it will both help each other, by generating revenue for the country and its people, by giving them jobs on a steady basis,basmattie rice is known for its name in the asian community, and the demand is so great in the US and Canada.I think this will be a plus for the guyanese people.I need your response very soon.I am still making contacts in Suriname as well.My direct number is 201-324-3960 business.
