I got a disturbing message that school teachers are abusing kids in the classrooms. There is an incident that occured at St. John College where a dance teacher cruelly whipped a student with a leather belt leaving marks on his bottom. Althoug the child cried for mercy that teacher continued. This is cruelty and abused beating a child for talking where there is no proof. You can punish a child by making him kneel in front of the class. Please investigate this matter.

Kadim you would have to contact the Ministry directly to answer that question.

Why post a comment if you can’t give some kind of answer or explanation to the people, the person is asking for your help. I think you should at least contact the Ministry and see what you could of done to answer the child question.

Luanne unfortunately that is a socio-political matter that we cannot solve…we do try to get answers on these matters but it is not always possible for a number of reasons. including the fact that a public servant does not have to answer nay question he or she does not feel like answering

    Mr./Ms. Moderator,

I write in response to your reply to Luanne. I beg to differ with you when you say ” a public servant does not have to answer any question…..”. I believe we allow our Public Servants to getaway with too much. The name says it all ‘Public Servant’; here to serve. They may Say ” I don’t have that information at this time’ but not refuse to answer. We need to hold them to the fire. They are Beholden to Us.

    Thank you.
