Stabroek News:: The Guyana Agricultural and General Workers Union (GAWU) yesterday afternoon called off its two-day strike, paving the way for a resumption of talks with the Guyana Sugar Corporation (Guy-suco).
Sugar workers proceeded on a two-day strike on Tuesday after wages and salary discussions broke down on Monday at the conciliation stage.
