She has since unraveled
her long wavy tresses
and placed the jewels to rest
The ocean waves
play a melancholic song as
Her eyes like lotus petals
appear misty
The slender waisted lady
stammers along lush gardens
where they both strolled together,
centuries agoIt was pre-ordained perhaps
and her remaining days
are spent in Arjuna’s memories
Her immaculate beauty now useless
she never grows old -
a boon of the snake people
She belongs in the water“O Arya! Our son has become
A gallant prince -
possessing intricate knowledge of archery
like masters of war
your kshatriya blood gushing in his veins:
I turn him to you
And renounce the world hereafter” says UloopiHe lives on the earth,
The leader of the Kurukshetra war
She resides in the water,
Loving him foreverNotes: Kurukshetra war - as depicted in Mahabharata
