  never got a chance to go into the building, so i have no idea what Mikel Plaza is all about…it’s in a residential area and sits behind some houses so you have to go down a walkway to get there, which i don’t particularly like…poor planning i would say and there is no signs outsside or anything to tell you where it is you just have to depend on catching a glimpse of the building from the road…i was met outside by an employee who was very rude and dismissive. [this was 1st Dec, 2007 about 7pm] she seemed disturbed to see me there as if i was intruding on something. there were some folks there celebrating something or the other. the rude staff summarily waved me off as if to say ‘get the hell out of here.’ i then asked her if she had any rooms available, ‘no check back in two weeks!’
  quite unbelievable when you’re talking Guyana with occupancy rates close to zero…i then asked if i can have a card, she waltzed off back inside chucked a card my way and went off into the great beyond to whatver it was she was doing before…make a long story short, i would never spend a time here.

  oh dear. what an experience. I say, stay at the Brandsville Apartment in Campbelleville the next time, their staff is very friendly and the property is spendid
