Please all you colonial-minded people...it is a clubhouse for local elites, and white tourists who go there avoid mixing with the general public. if you try to buy food for any of the little boys who hang around outside, they will kick the boys out. Just doing their job? Keeping out anyone/anyting that disturbs whitey? I wish the British owner and his wife would take the colonizer mind-set back to babylon. We don't need it here!!!

nisa walker is extremely rude and abrasive. the place is great if she is not there, but she has no sense of customer service, at least to her non-white customers

Hi, I can actually say that my daughter and I visited Oasis with our laptops, at the South Road location when I visited Guyana last Xmas 2008.

The atmosphere was very inviting, and the staff very pleasant which I hadn't encountered in many other establishments in GT.

Our main purpose for visiting the Cafe was for the WiFi...however, during our quest to stay in touch via IM with friends and family back in the States we decided to order breakfast...and it was delicious indeed.

I will difinitely visit the Cafe the next time I am in GT.

My Best,
Claire & Leah

Hey, this place is great! i usually take my friends there (girl friends that is).....well female who are friends. i like the milk shake. I asked one of the persons whom i took there once to describe it.....i still waiting for that from her.
well, the atmosphere is great. its quaint, not too formal yet everything is done with class.
The interior has a wonderfully blended colour scheme of green and white. This added to our natural wooden and well designed tables and chairs which are all set perfect. couple's table and chair in the corner and group furniture set in the middle.
immediately entering the building, there is a sense of belonging. you are a part of a family. heck, i would go there just to read the paper!

well, keep up the good work guys.
