CMC and Guyana government promoting Carifesta

The Guyana government says it will be collaborating with the Barbados-based Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC) on a public awareness programme for the Caribbean Festival of Arts (CARIFESTA) that begins in Guyana on August 22.
Culture Minister, Dr. Frank Anthony said that the partnership is mainly to heighten awareness among Caribbean nationals as well those living in North America and the Diaspora.
