PORT-OF-SPAIN – A workmanlike hundred by opening batsman Sewnarine Chattergoon gave Guyana the upper hand against Trinidad and Tobago on the opening day of their first round Carib Beer Series match yesterday.
The 26-year-old left-hander compiled a solid 130 as Guyana, hunting their first regional title since 2002, closed on 267 for four at the Queen’s Park Oval.
